Mark Pirro's 2002 camp transgender comedy Curse of the Queer Wolf is a sendup of society's marginalization of intersuxuality. Using the standard language of the traditional horror film, Pirro creates a world where the all-American tailchaser, in this case named Larry Smalbut, gets bitten by a hot chick in a bar who turns out to be a male werewolf (queerwolf). The bite leads to the sign of the "pansygram" on Larry's palm which foreshadows his own downward spiral into the life of hunting straight men as a freakish transgendered monster.
