George Stall, billed as George the Mexican Wildman was one of a series of wild "men" who often occupied the lower rungs of the circus sideshow circuit. These performers may have had no specific talent or physical attribute that would have led someone to identify them as "wild" other than the dress and grooming provided by the sideshow managers. Here, George is styled to resemble one of the several known precursors to homo sapiens who themselves often bear little gender differentiation.
