This pulp fiction confidential publication from October of 1963 seeks the height of sensation with its blaring headlines promising blood, death, assassination, nudity and divorce all in the space of a few inches. The image of granny with the gun is the height of camp, even crossing over into the realm of gender ambiguity. "Granny" or perhaps gramps in drag, has her large hands wrapped around the six shooter with the promise of confrontation to come. Gore, commotion and perhaps even death await, just inside the cover.
