Christian Dior is a well established French fashion firm now led by renowned designer John Galliano. In the advertisement at left, Dior utilizes a stick-figured model to showcase a line of men's suits. This new emaciated styled body seems to be the ideal for both men and women who come to resemble each other as they become more and more gaunt. As their body types converge, so does the appearance and style of the clothes which fit their similarly proportioned figures.
